Heinrich, Naked Orange NV

Flag of Austria

Established in 1989 by Heike Heinrich in Gols, Burgenland, Weingut Heinrich has evolved into one of Austria's most acclaimed wineries. Transitioning to biodynamic practices in 2006, the estate emphasizes natural processes and minimal intervention to authentically express the region's terroir. Their vineyards, spanning approximately 100 hectares, are cultivated only with indigenous Austrian grape varieties. This amber-hued wine is a harmonious blend of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, and Riesling; aged for 2 months on skins. The nose offers vibrant aromas of mandarin, blood orange, and guava, intertwined with subtle peppery spice. On the palate, it delivers refreshing notes of ripe citrus fruits, complemented by a delicate texture and a lively, juicy character. The finish is clean and invigorating, leaving a lasting impression of its expressive yet unobtrusive nature.
